  1. Modernization Review

    Fixed price.

    What you get

    • Written report with findings and risks
    • Roadmap with options, estimates and a recommendation

    With the report you decide what to do, in what order, how much effort to plan for and whether to order a block. If no modernization is needed, the report says so.

    What we look at

    • Architecture, versions and dependencies
    • Performance and Core Web Vitals
    • Security risks in dependencies
    • Delivery: tests, CI, code review rules

    Mutual NDA before the start. Read-only access to repository and CI. We walk you through the results with engineering and management.

  2. Modernization blocks

    Fixed price per block, rollback plan included. Scope, assumptions and price are set in writing before each block.

    A block is one part of the roadmap, agreed and priced on its own.

Typical reasons to get in touch

A rewrite is sometimes the cheaper choice, for example for a small application that isn't business-critical. If that is your situation, we'll tell you.

We advise on the technical side only. Whether and how the Cyber Resilience Act or the BFSG applies to your product is a question for your legal counsel.

Hold My Code is my engineering studio. I'm Gregor Doroschenko, founder and principal architect. From the first email on, you talk to the person who is responsible for the architecture.

15+ years in production web systems, Angular and TypeScript since 2016. 20+ in-house workshops.

In my own projects I build with AI agents under my review. Whether and how they are used on a client project is agreed per project.
